“Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” will premiere on the Paramount Network on July 30 at 10pm. Produced by Jay-Z, the six-part original docuseires looks at Trayvon’s life and legacy, who’s shooting death in 2012 started the #BlackLivesMatter movement. An unarmed 17 year old Trayvon was shot and killed by his neighbor George Zimmerman and second-degree murder charges where filed against Zimmerman. Who was later acquitted claiming he hot shot the 17 year old Trayvon in self-defense.
