Karana is in her early 40’s and has a co-worker, DJ, that she befriended years ago. A couple months ago DJ transitioned into a woman and now goes by Daneen. Karana says she’s known “Daneen” for years and never once suspected anything so this transition completely caught her off guard. Daneen now uses the women’s restroom and Karana admits that she feels extremely uncomfortable. What advice would you offer Karana to get over this feeling?
