Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Quincy Jones are reuniting for ‘The Color Purple‘ the movie musical. Alice Walker‘s Pulitzer Prize winning book, has already been made into a movie and a Broadway musical, and now the musical version is being transformed back into a film. The movie version introduced us to Oprah and received 11 Oscar nominations. Steven, Quincy, and Oprah will be the producers of the movie musical. No casting has been made yet because the project is in it’s earlier stage.
