Eminem’s Former Sister-In-Law Dies Of Alleged Heroin Overdose

Rapper Eminem’s sister-in-law Dawn Scott has died of a suspected heroin overdose, died of a suspected heroin overdose in a Detroit trailer park on Tuesday, January 18, police told Page Six. Scott, who was 41 at the time of her death, is the twin sister of Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Mathers. Both Kim and Dawn moved in with the rapper and his mother when they were just 15 years old, and Eminem (ne Marshall Mathers) was the legal guardian of Scott’s 22-year-old daughter, Alaina. On Wednesday, January 20, Kim posted to a sweet note to a funeral home’s website in Scott’s memory.”>Page Six reports.
Eminem had a notoriously tumultuous relationship with her twin sister, Kim Mathers.
The Grammy-award winner’s ex wife posted this message on the funeral home’s website about her sister:
“Dawn was my sweet, beautiful sister who lost her way,” the 41-year-old wrote. “I kept a light lit for her hoping she’d find her way back to me. I miss her and love her more than anything I could ever say. I wish she was here so I could hug her and tell her I love her. Half of me is gone and I will never feel whole again.”
