Fox’s “Empire” To End After Season 6

Ohh Noo! Looks like Fox is pulling the plug on Empire after season 6 and what’s more, there are no plans to include Jussie Smollett’s character, “Jamal Lyon” in any of the episodes. Fox made the announcement as it unveiled its upcoming lineup for the 2019-20 television schedule.
“Empire” heads into its sixth season and has had constantly declining ratings, which pushed it out of the top 10 network entertainment series. In case you haven’t heard, Fox also cancelled, “Star” too!
Additionally, according to reports, Empire will also be moving time slots on Fox! Instead of Wednesdays, it will now air on Tuesday’s at 9am. That is the same time slot for the NBC’s hit show, “This Is Us”.
