In a press release dated July 13 by the Dallas Police Department revealed that they had received an internal complaint concerning Sgt. Arturo Martinez’s social media post.

It was speculation that the post had something to do with the shooting at Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which wounded Trump, two bystanders, and killed two people (including the gunman).

Martinez was put on leave following the accusations, pending conclusion of an administrative investigation conducted by internal affairs.
