Police Car Stopped on a Road at Night with Emergency Lights

A family doordash delivery turned into a road rage accident tragically injuring a 2 -year-old in a east Dallas neighborhood, Sunday evening around 8pm according to FOX4.

According to court documents, a man on a motorcycle travelling in the middle of the street with no lights on was the blame.

Fox4 reported, a vehicle with a family in it turned down a street and honked as they swerved to miss the motorcycle.

Arrest documents state the motorcyclist followed the vehicle in the neighborhood shouting. He then retaliated by turning around, reaching for a revolver, and firing twice at the vehicle, striking a 2-year-old child in the backseat, according to the police.

The alleged shooter, was identified by witnesses as 50-year-old Jason Cane.

A neighbor says the the accused shooter showed back up to the scene asking neighbors what happened, insinuating it had something to do with drug dealers on the next street.

The suspect initially resisted his arrest, but ultimately complied. Police say when they searched his home rifles, automatic weapons, satanic and nazi symbols were found.

According to FOX4, his bond is set at $850,000 and he is currently being held at Dallas County Jail facing up to 1 count of injury to a child and 3 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

At this time, the toddler is at the hospital stable, but no word on her condition.
