With Christmas Day just around the corner, TJ Maxx officially announced that their will be a 24-hour blackout.

Those famously low-priced clothes, housewares, and unusual treasures we look foward to getting lost in every year won’t be available Christmas Day, so shop early!

The 24-hour closure anoouncemnet is just the latest in a long line of stores that are letting their staff spend the holidays with their family.

We do however have some good news, All TJ Maxx fans may look forward to business as usual on December 26.

Monday through Saturday, most locations are typically open from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm, and on Sundays, from 10 am to 8 pm. In an effort to attract more customers, TJ Maxx will re-open at 8 a.m. on Thursday this year.

If you’re considering going to Marshalls,  you might want to reconsider that as a alternative.

Since all TJX Companies will be closing for Christmas, this mass closusure will also affect other stores.

Sister store Marshalls will also close, giving shoppers less choices to last minite shop this year.

Other Places to Shop Christmas Day

You may get some things in as little as a few hours thanks to Amazon’s same-day delivery option.

As an alternative, you can visit CVS on Christmas Day for any and all of your health care needs.

Retail giant Walgreens will also welcome holiday customers.

7-Eleven and other major grocery stores will probably be open in certain regions as well.
