Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Thursday

North Texas can reportedly expect heavy rain and thunderstorms beginning with light rainfall Wednesday evening going into Thursday afternoon with 2-3 inches of rain according to WFFA meteorologists.

Specifically, at approximately 3am Wednesday morning it will begin. The impact of this will result in some flooding.  You can expect traffic delays during Thursday morning commutes. Strong storms could also produce small hail up to a quarter-size with wind gusts up to 60mph.

This evening( Tuesday, Jan 28th) moisture will be moving in that will increase shattered storms in certain areas, mostly in South Texas.
