A historic college football rivalry between the Prairie View A&M Panthers and the Grambling State Tigers, the State Fair Classic has been a celebrated tradition at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park since the 1980s. This year's showdown between the HBCU rivals will kick off at 6 pm on Saturday, September 27. Tickets for the 2025 State Fair Classic can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, and participating Williams Chicken locations. Every ticket purchased includes game day admission to the State Fair of Texas, including pre-and post-game concerts, and entrance into the Cotton Bowl Stadium for the football game and halftime show.
