Trevon Diggs will not be taking the field this Sunday, October 19, in the Dallas Cowboys’ match-up against the Washington Commanders. This news was received from the team’s medical staff on Friday morning.
“Trevon Diggs came in this morning with some concussion symptoms after having an accident in his home. He’s been checked out by our doctors, and he’s in the protocol, and we’ll miss the game. We’re gathering information, I just got that information walking over from our doctors … but it happened last night,” says Cowboys head coach Brian Schotteheimer.

This will be a huge blow to the Dallas defense in this game. Diggs’ absence this Sunday will mark the third missed game of this season due to injuries.

Caelen Carson is likely to be activated to the 53-man roster this weekend due to being a full participant in each practice for the past 2 weeks.

Kaiir Elam is said to step in as a starter with Diggs sidelined.

At this time, the nature of Trevon Diggs’ injury is unknown. The story is still developing.
