Okay Russell Wilson… we see you entering your soft life era!

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback officially announced he’s retiring from the NFL after 14 seasons and heading straight to TV as a new analyst for CBS Sports.

And honestly? This makes sense.

Russell spent over a decade cooking defenses with the Seattle Seahawks, brought home a Super Bowl ring, made 10 Pro Bowls, and became one of the most recognizable quarterbacks in football.

Now he’s trading helmets for studio lights.

In his emotional retirement video, Russ thanked everybody from former coach Pete Carroll to hospital patients he met throughout his career—but the sweetest moment was shouting out his kids and wife, Ciara.

He called her his “greatest blessing” and his best friend, and listen… Black love wins every time.

Now fans are already debating whether Russell will be a good analyst or too polished for TV. But one thing about Russ? He’s always gonna give motivational speaker energy with a side of football stats.

And honestly, after that rough Denver era? This career pivot feels REAL peaceful.
