Tisha Campbell-Martin will star in an upcoming new TV Drama for ABC. The new drama will produce by Regina King and Robin Roberts will follow “the lives of five African-American sisters, all officers in the NYPD, as they face the challenges of their high-risk jobs while juggling the responsibilities of marriage, motherhood and family.” It is based on the real-life story of the Holmes sisters, who Roberts covered for GMA. Tisha’s character is Sergeant Anise Kendrick-Morrison, “a witty, tough, and outspoken Patrol Officer with a sharp sense of humor. This will be a dramatic role is a departure for Tisha, who is best known for her comedic work.
