Mariah Carey reveals she has bipolar disorder to People Magazine. For the first time, Mariah is talking about her struggles with being bipolar. It was back in 2001, when she was in the hospital for physical and mental breakdown, that’s when Mariah was told about her disorder. “At first I don’t want to believe it”, say Mariah. She lived in denial and isolation because she feared people would find out about her being bipolar. Now she is treatment and have positive people around her. Mariah says, “she’s in good place.”
