Sometimes we end up loving the remix more than the original. That is definitely the case for me with this one. The “It’s Like That” sample spiced up the 2000 love ballad from Jagged Edge’s 2nd studio album, J.E. Heartbreak. The original spent three weeks at the top of the US R&B chart in 2000 and reached #11 on the US pop chart.
