Maybe it’s the Scarface Mary Jane sample that makes me love love this song so much but it was definitely the jam! Baby was the third and final single from Ashanti’s 2002 debut, self titled album. “Baby” reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number seven on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart. It was her fifth top ten entry on the Hot R&B Songs chart.
