FOX has picked up Empire for it’s fifth season. Lee Daniels’s hip-hop family drama series starring Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson will be returning although Empire’s rating are at an all time low. The show pulled in 5.3 million viewers during last week’s episode. Fox has not confirmed how many episodes Season 5 will have but the order is believed to be 18 episodes.
