According to BlackAmericaWeb, ‘Beauty Shop’ playwriter Shelly Garrett has died at the age of 71. He suffered from stomach cancer. Shelly leaves behind a legacy that has impacted today’s greats, such as Tyler Perry. Rest in peace Shelly.
