Heather and Joey have been friends for 20 years. Joey asked Heather to cosign on a car because he’s in the process of repairing his credit. Heather is a bit apprehensive because she has a perfect credit score and doesn’t want anything to ruin her credit. Joey says he can’t find anybody else to cosign for him and he promises not to have any slip ups or mishaps. Heather feels like she owes him this favor because he’s done many favors for her in the past she really doesn’t want to leave him hanging. What advice would you offer Heather?
