Its seems like we are getting to relive the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with all the recent reboots of some of our favorite TV shows. And who didn’t love the supernatural themed sitcom “Bewitched“? Well ABC is working on running it back! But with a twist! It’s from “Black-ish” creator , Kenya Barris and writer/producer , Yamara Taylor. It’ll feature Samantha as black single mother and Darrin, who she marries, as kind of a slacker. And yes, Darrin is white. Samantha will have powers . . . but she also discovers that, quote, “Even though she’s literally magical, she’s still not as powerful as a decently tall white man with a full head of hair in America.”

The original show ran for eight seasons on ABC, from 1964 to 1972 and NBC tried to do a sequel series in 2014 and another reboot a few years later and they both failed. But the 2005 movie with WILL FERRELL and NICOLE KIDMAN was pretty funny (at least I thought so)
No word on casting yet but I’m definitely looking forward to the premier.
