A jury has sided with songwriter Daniel Marino over not being credited for his work on the song “Club Girl” with became Usher’s hit “Bad Girl.” The song “Bad Girl” was on Usher’s 2004 album ‘Confessions.’ The lawsuit initially started against Usher and 20 other defendants for breach of contract was dismissed expect for Daniel’s lawsuit. The court awarded him $44.35 million following a seven year court battle over the track. The jury ordered his former co-writer, William Guice to pay in compensatory and punitive damages last week in a Philadelphia Court.
