Ashanti was scheduled to perform at Stony Brook University’s ‘Back to the Brook’ concert. But after only selling 24 tickets to a student body of 2500, the school was forced to cancel the event. Also Teyana Taylor was scheduled to headline the show, but she pulled out at the last minute. The school issued a statement explaining the reason for the show cancelation. They kinda threw Ashanti under the bus by including the number tickets that were sold.
