The 14 year old star of Black-ish; Marsai Martin who plays Diane Johnson, twin to Jack on the show, has signed a first-look deal with Universal Pictures for her Genius Productions company. The first Genius Productions film under the new deal is the comedy “StepMonster,” in which Marsai will play a teenager getting used to life with a new stepmother. She will also star in and executive produce her first film, the comedy starring Regina Hall and Issa Rae. “Little” opens on April 12. Now that’s some real #BlackMagic!
