Get ready for another Black-ish spin-off! ABC is considering developing a prequel that will focus on Tracee Ellis Ross’s character as a young Rainbow Johnson. It will be set in the 80’s & 90’s. This will be the second spin-off from Black-ish, with Grown-ish being the first. Plus Grown-ish just got renewed for their third season. Although no deals have been completed, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris is predicted to serve as an executive producers. It’s also not clear if the series would stay on ABC or follow Kenya to his new home at Netflix.
