Looks like “Empire” has slashed Jussie Smollett’s role on the show!
According to TMZ, Smollet’s character “Jamal Lyon” on “Empire“, was supposed to have some major scenes including a big musical scene in the second to the last episode, but 5 of his scenes have been nixed! The script is undergoing some major changes and edits as we speak because the are filming some of the episodes now! This all comes in the wake of the embarrassing scandal, that Smollett is denying taking part in!
Some folks ARE supporting Smollett during this time! Even Ava DuVernay and Empire writers took to social media to post on Twitter!
Smollett’s cast members will have to fill the void of his absence following the debacle that the actor is facing, after he allegedly paid two brothers to orchestrate an alleged hate crime against him! Reports have also surfaced that a grand jury has convened in the case!
