Lee Daniels teams up with Tom Hanks to produce Sammy Davis Jr. biopic. The miniseries titled ‘Sammy” will be about the life of music icon Sammy Davis Jr. Sammy Davis Jr. was one of the first Black entertainers to crossover in racially charged America during the 1950s. And he went on to be a part of the famous The Rat Pack. No word on who will play Sammy Davis Jr. but my vote is for comedian Tommy Davidson.
