There’s a new song that dropped of the late Whitney Houston, previously unreleased 1991 recording of “Higher Love” (originally released in 1986 by co-writer Steve Winwood) is out now. Clive Davis, who helped to discover and mold Houston,took to Instagram on Thursday to promote the release. According to his post, Whitney’s first performed the song was at a 1990 Tokyo concert. When it was re-recorded in 1991, the track was meant for her third album, “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” but was never released until now.
