The NFL and Jay-Z’s entertainment and sports representation company are teaming up for events and social activism. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation will consult on entertainment presentations, including the Super Bowl halftime show, will work with Jay’s and entrepreneur’s company to “strengthen community through music and the NFL’s “Inspire Change initiative.”
Jay-Z, who has been a strong supporter of Colin Kaepernick, who has not played in the NFL in two seasons and is still not with a team now. He has turned down invitations to perform at the Super Bowl, as well as Rihanna. No word on if this means Jay-Z and by Jay-Z, we mean with his wife, Beyonce will finally perform during the Super Bowl together with this collaboration.
