Ava DuVernay has revealed that she’s no longer attached to Netflix’s documentary on the life of Prince. The Oscar-nominated filmmaker had been at work on the project for several months. This was the documentary that Prince reached out directly to the Queen Sugar creator about working together before his 2016 death. Ava revealed she is no longer involved in the doc. “It just didn’t work out,” she said, citing “creative differences” as the reason.
