Viola Davis is set to portray Michelle Obama in a Showtime series that’s under development about America’s first ladies. Viola is also an executive producer on the project, that will “peel back the curtain” on the lives of presidential spouses. The proposed series will air on Showtime and they have committed to three scripts for the series. There is no air date yet since the series has not been ordered.
