People in several North Dallas neighborhoods are assessing the damage and beginning to clean up after at least one confirmed tornado touched down Sunday night. The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado on the radar near Dallas Love Field just after 9 p.m. It reportedly touched down later in North Dallas and traveled east through Garland, Richardson, Rockwall and Sachse.
The National Weather Service will send out survey teams Monday to evaluate the damage in North Dallas and determine the tornado’s strength. Other areas will be assessed in the coming days.
