Fort Worth Teen Sentenced to Life In Prison After Deadly Shooting In 2022

Reportedly, a 19-year-old man will serve life in prison after a Tarrant County jury found him guilty this week of shooting and murdering two people in Fort Worth in 2022.
Nixon-Clark was convicted of capital murder and given an automatic life sentence.
According to NBC5, Nixon-Clark and others drove through a northwest Fort Worth neighborhood on Aug. 28, 2022, and parked to observe teenagers and children play at a residence on Steel Dust Drive.
Nixon-Clark and another man then got out of the car in masks and weapons, running to the home and firing more than a dozen shots before returning to the car and driving away.
Jamarrien Monroe, 17, and his five-year-old cousin, Rayshard Javon Scott, were killed. Others sustained injuries, including Monroe’s 18-month-old son.
