Erykah Badu Brings it Home for Special Juneteenth Performance
Erykah Badu is set to headline a special Juneteenth concert titled “Echos 19” in her hometown of Dallas, TX. The concert will take place in Deep Ellum at the Bomb Factory, a well-known concert venue in Dallas. It’s known for hosting iconic performances, including Erykah’s grand opening show in 2015.
You can expect Badu’s set to include her timeless classics, from neo-soul to her jazz & hip-hop hits. Fans are anticipating her to perform ‘Tyrone, Love of My Life, Window Seat, and many more of her fan’s favorites.
The show is set to include an opening act from local upcoming rapper Tye Harris and be hosted by various hip-hop personalities like Wayno, Nyla Symone, and Mouse Jones who will provide live commentary for the evening.
With Badu being such a major artist tickets for her one-night-only Dallas show “Echos 19” are sold out, however, she will be streaming the whole performance live on Prime Video and on Twitch. The concert is a part of Amazon Music’s “Forever in Rotation” celebrating black music month.
Though tickets are sold out, fans can secure free tickets through AXS on a first come first served basis.
