Happy 34th birthday to Fantasia Barrino! We all knew she was going to be a star the moment to opened her mouth on American Idol! Free Yourself, featuring Missy Elliott, was the fourth single and the title track from her debut album officially released on June 1, 2005. This grammy nominated jam peaked at number three on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and number one on the US Adult R&B Airplay chart.
“If you don’t want me then don’t talk to me. Go ahead and free yourself.” Preach Tasia! Definitely one of my favorites from her.
