Media mogul Oprah Winfrey shared that after a trip overseas she ended up in the emergency room because she thought she had a cold that wouldn’t go away. Oprah says she was diagnosed with pneumonia but when she wasn’t getting better, she saw a lung specialist. “He puts a stethoscope over her heart and I saw the ‘Oh s**t’ face,” she recalls. He said, ‘You must immediately cancel everything.’
Thankfully, Oprah said she got better after a week. “Her doctor called her every day to make sure she was using the inhaler and taking the right antibiotics. He even thanked her three times for getting better, and said, ‘Can I have a hug?’ And I could tell he was like, ‘Not on my watch is this going to happen.’
