Dallas, TX, Feb. 25, 2019 – MAJIC 94.5 and Tom Joyner present the “One More Time Experience!” Tom Joyner will bring his “One More Time Experience” farewell tour to Dallas on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory with musical guest Charlie Wilson for an unforgettable night of live performances to celebrate 25 years of the Tom Joyner Morning Show.
“What better way to say thank you to the people I owe my career to,” said Joyner. “I hope everyone will be as excited as I am to celebrate with good music, good fun and good hugs. We have 25 years-worth of partying to achieve, so let’s do it together, with the ultimate One More Time Experience.”
Joyner will host the event in multiple cities with more artists and guests expected to join the tour throughout the summer. Dallas will be a special stop on the tour with the city being a pivotal point in his career. Joyner originally gained popularity as “The Fly Jock,” a name coined for his daily travel schedule to anchor two drive-time radio shows—mornings in Dallas and afternoons in Chicago.
Throughout his career, Joyner has been inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame, received a Marconi from the National Association of Broadcasters and been awarded the NAACP Image award. Joyner, along with Urban One/Radio One CEO David Kantor, formed Reach Media in 2003. After over 30 years in radio and syndication Tom Joyner has decided to retire in December of 2019.
